VENUE HIRE

Te Whare Hononga is purpose-built for kaupapa Māori, reconciliation events, and training. Private events that align with this kaupapa are welcome to enquire about hiring Te Whare Hononga.

HOURLY RATE: $200 + GST
HALF DAY (up to 4 hours): $600 + GST
FULL DAY: $1000 + GST

CBD LOCATION
37 Vivian Street, New Plymouth, at the base of Pūkākā, between Taranaki Cathedral's Church of St. Mary and the renovated Vicarage, with a wharekai on the ground floor.

FINEPRINT

  • Ngāti Te Whiti has booking priority. All bookings are subject to cancellation if the space is needed for an Iwi or Hapū event. In the rare event that a booking is cancelled, every effort will be made to find an alternative venue at Taranaki Cathedral.

  • Small amounts of food and non-alcoholic drinks may be brought into Te Whare Hononga, but meals must be taken in the Vicarage’s wharekai dining area next door. All rubbish and recycling must be taken with you at the end of the event.

  • Set-up & cleanup must be done within your paid booking time.

  • Set-up and pack-down fees may apply. All fees are subject to review & change.
